Service Areas
Our office and equipment yard are on Caratoke Highway in Jarvisburg, which puts us at the top of the bridge run onto the Outer Banks and within easy reach of the mainland towns behind it. Roughly ninety-five percent of our work happens on the Banks themselves.
This is a strange area to describe with a radius, because half of any circle drawn around us is water. So instead of a mileage number, here is exactly where we go.
Where We Work Most
These are the towns where we work most often and where we have the deepest history. Each has its own page with detail on the land clearing, septic, and site work we handle there.
Region By Region
Corolla · Duck · Southern Shores · Kitty Hawk · Kill Devil Hills · Nags Head
From the Virginia line down to the Wright Memorial Bridge, we work Corolla, Duck, and Southern Shores regularly. This stretch is almost entirely residential, and a large share of what we do here is clearing wooded lots for new construction, installing and replacing septic systems, and building pads and driveways on sandy ground that has to be handled carefully. Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, and Nags Head sit just below and are among our busiest towns.
Manteo · Rodanthe · Salvo · Avon · Buxton · Frisco · Hatteras
We cover Manteo on Roanoke Island and run the full length of Hatteras Island: Rodanthe, Salvo, Avon, Buxton, Frisco, and Hatteras village. The trip south gets long, roughly two hours to Buxton, so jobs down there work best when they are scheduled with a little lead time and, where possible, grouped with other work on the island. We are glad to make the run. We just plan it rather than squeeze it in.

Behind the sound we work Jarvisburg, Moyock, Elizabeth City, Hertford, and Columbia, along with the smaller communities in between. Mainland work tends to look different from beach work. There is more acreage, more farm and timber ground, and more full-property clearing and mulching, along with septic and site work for homes going up outside of town.
We do not run out to Ocracoke. It is about a three-hour trip with the ferry, and we would not be able to service a job out there the way a customer deserves.
We have gone farther for the right job, out toward Belvidere and Murfreesboro among others. If your property is outside the areas listed here, call and ask. Depending on the size and the timing, the answer is often yes.
Honest Limits
We do not routinely work up into Chesapeake or Virginia Beach. It is over an hour each way from the yard, and there are contractors closer to those jobs who can serve them better. Ocracoke is out for the same reason. We would rather tell you that up front than string you along on scheduling.
One Crew
One thing worth saying about all of these towns: it is the same six or seven people either way. We are not franchising a name out across the county. If your job is in Frisco or in Moyock, it is our equipment on the property and Clay knows what is happening on it.
